Does Myer have a student discount?
At the moment, Myer doesn’t have a discount especially for students, but if you’re studying you can use the discount codes and deals here to get more value. The deals team will also update these details if a Myer student discount is launched.
How long is a Myer discount code valid?
Myer discount codes have different promotional periods when you can use them, rather than a set period for every code, so it’s important to refer to the terms and conditions.
As an example, the most recent $10 Birthday Reward I got through MYER One was valid until the 31st of the month after my birthday. I also recently got a surprise $10 eReward discount from Myer, which was available to use for 16 days. Keep in mind that these discount codes/vouchers were sent directly to me and, according to Myer’s terms and conditions, that means they’re non-transferrable (as they were linked to my Myer account). How often does Myer have sales?
As one of Australians biggest department stores, Myer often has items for sale across different categories. The website even has a Sale section for key departments, including Homewares. But the biggest discounts are often available during major sales events, including Black Friday in late November, Boxing Day in December and End of Financial Year (EOFY) around June. You can also find valuable deals during Click Frenzy sales and Afterpay Day.
Does Myer offer free shipping?
Myer offers free standard delivery on orders over $99 shipped anywhere in Australia. If your order is less than this, a flat rate of $9.95 applies – unless you have Gold or Platinum MYER One status.
There is also a flat rate of $75 for items classified as Big & Bulky, such as mattresses and bed bases. The Myer website lists delivery details on each product page, so you can check what items are considered Big & Bulky.
How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery to most metro areas takes 3-7 days and up to 10 days if you’re in the NT, WA or a regional area of Australia. If you want your order faster, you can pay $12.95 for express delivery, which usually arrives in 1-3 days in metro areas and 2-4 days in the NT, WA or regional Australia.
Big & Bulky deliveries are shipped separately and take 7-14 days, but may take longer if an item is custom-made.
Does Myer offer click and collect?
Yes! Myer offers click and collect so you can pick up your order from the nearest available Myer store. When you’re shopping online, just enter the postcode or Myer store to view product details and click and collect availability – as long as what you’re buying is in stock at your chosen Myer store, you can pick it up for free.
What is Myer’s return policy?
Myer offers refunds or exchanges on most items within 30 days of purchase if you change your mind. But the items need to be in their original condition with proof of purchase. You also need to pay postage fees if you return it by post. Or, you can return items for free to a Myer store.
There are also some exclusions for change of mind returns, including Big & Bulky items, custom made or personalised items and large electrical items. But you may still be entitled to a refund, replacement or other option under Australian Consumer Law if there’s an issue.
